ran another overnighter on friday night. The fishing started off kinda slow but the good thing about the night trips in small boats is you have the time and the ability to move around as much as possible to look for the fish. I ran a total of 225 miles looking for tuna and found them hitting hard at the last spot. I had Jimmy Peek and his son and a friend on his 26 foot boat and we caught most of the fish on chum although we could have caught them on poppers as well. The fish ranged from 50-80 pounds. We ended up keeping seven fish before the three guys decided they had plenty of meat and not enough energy to catch another one. I wanted to get in on the act and they were more then willing to let me catch the 7th tuna. We had a beautiful sunrise on the way in.

I had another overnighter scehdule with Robert Rodriguez the next night but an engine problem on the contender caused that to have to be resceduled.
